Akademia is AFS Poland’s annual training weekend for volunteers, which is getting organized for the 3d time in 2018. The event brings together a group of the most active volunteers of the organisation for 3 days of integration, skills and self-development. The event celebrates the dedication and engagement of our volunteers and a handful of them the opportunity to develop their talents in a structured way.

The 2018 edition of the event tackles a topic that has been asked for on several occasions – facilitation skills. We want the training weekend to meet the needs and wishes of our volunteers, so this year, we have listened to our volunteers and have invited two amazing trainers form abroad to help us work on our skills and make the ….tadaaaam…. ORIENTATION ACADEMY happen.

Why Orientation Academy? During these 3 days our volunteers will have the chance to learn more about ICL, how to work with smaller or bigger groups on orientations, how to manage large-scale events, connect to the group and present themselves.

Be a part of the group of 30 participants of the Orientation Academy on 23 – 25 November 2018 in Kaczyn.
